Airport terminals contain an important number of signs that orientate passengers during their journey through the airport. Modifications made to the terminal over time, different incidents during airport operation, and above all, the natural evolution of the airport are all factors add to the need for a constant extensive study of all existing signage, along with any modifications required, any that need to be temporarily removed and any new signs that need to be provided.
AERIAM offers a software solution that allows detailed control of all signage (operational and emergency) in the terminal, of possible defined routes, of modifications, removal and installation of signs, both temporary and permanent.
“Sign Manager” allows a map of the whole airport terminal or of a specific area of it to be selected, and then on top of this image the following operations can be performed:
- Zoom (in / out)
- Scroll
- View existing signs, add new signs, modify and / or remove them
- Edit the contents of the existing signs
- Carry out a search for specific signs
- “Illuminate” defined routes
