AERTEC Cooperation was born in 2006 as an initiative of a AERTEC´s group personnel. During its development they offered a large amount of ideas, enthusiasm and feelings for development cooperation. From the very beginning they were backed by the management, and little by little it became an important part of Aertec’s social responsibility.
Our objectives

- Promote selflessness, cultural exchange and the commitment to sustainable development as part of Aertec’s identity
- Encourage a compassionate attitude amongst colleagues
- Offer opportunities to carry out voluntary work

- The Charity Euro
A monthly donation of one euro taken from the wages of AERTEC staff who are members of the initiative, the total collected being doubled by the company and then sent to the Companies for Education programme.
In 2007 we supported the “Schooling of 290 working children in Managua (Nicaragua)” project. In 2008 we have been supporting the “Construction of four schools in Madinani, Ivory Coast” project.
- Collection of toys for children in hospital
Sent to the Cancer Research Association, for children in Malaga Children’s Maternal Hospital (Christmas and presents and for the playroom).
With these cards we support and education programme for 65,000 refugee children and more than 1,000 teachers that have been moved to Sub-Sahara Africa (Kenya, Congo, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda).

Each action generates many questions and conversations, and the commitment to sustainable development is becoming part of our company’s identity. This is AERTEC Cooperation’s greatest success.
